Welcome to Batumi, the third largest city in Georgia. Batumi is a tourist city on the Black Sea coast. As of 2026, the city had about two hundred thousand residents, but every day it has many more due to the large influx of tourists that come to it. 

For those of you who are coming for the first time, the feeling is that we have arrived in a new, surprising, modern, vibrant and dynamic world. Batumi is a welcoming city, an excellent host and has everything.

Excellent hotels, good quality accommodation apartments, fine food and also quite a bit to see. In Batumi, attractions, sites, history and also places to spend time. In short, it's not boring! 

The flight time from Israel is only two hours, and with all the advantages the city has, this is what makes it a favorite destination for Israelis. The Israeli tourist who recently avoided traveling to Turkey found a substitute in Batumi: both a coastal city with a Middle Eastern flavor, and casinos that Israelis love, in short, a perfect city! 

Three airlines operate direct flights to Batumi: El Al, Israir, and Arkia. During the tourist season (April-October), they operate 12 to 25 flights per week on the Tel Aviv-Batumi route, and during the winter season (November-March), about five to seven flights per week.
