Attractions in Batumi
Dear visitors, we offer a list of popular attractions, which have a large Israeli visitor traffic and are considered the most visited sites. Batumi offers a wider variety than the selection presented here. We bring you a limited list that is a must for a 4-7 night visit to Batumi.

Argo Cable Car
The cable car station is in the old city (near the marina) see the map. Fast entry takes you up the stairs where you can see a welcome sign in all languages. Board the cable car in small groups, a particularly long cable car, leaves the city limits and climbs to the highest point in the hills that surround the city. At the top station you can go down to a souvenir shop and a cafe, as well as a spectacular view of the city.

A lookout from the top station of the cable car reveals a particularly spectacular view, you can see the entire city of Batumi spread out before your eyes in all its glory - a must!
A spacious square located in the heart of the city and combining history with modernity
In the center of the square stands a statue of Medea holding the Golden Fleece, a symbol of Georgia's deep historical connection with European culture and Greek mythology.
This is one of the most beautiful and popular squares in the city, designed in a spectacular Italian style. It is considered the entertainment center of the old city.
In the center of the square is a huge marble mosaic, considered one of the largest in Europe. The square is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, hotels and boutique shops.
Batumi Marina is one of the most vibrant and beautiful areas in the city, combining marine activities with a modern promenade and spectacular views of the Black Sea.
This is the main hub where yachts, motorboats and cruise ships anchor. It is a popular departure point for sailing on the Black Sea, especially at sunset.
Activities: You can rent a private boat or join an organized boat tour. The area is bustling with tourists and locals strolling along the docks.
Batumi Lunapark: Located in the south of the promenade, in the area of Lake Ardagani. This is a more classic amusement park with a variety of attractions such as bumper cars, carousels, and small extreme attractions.
Please note: The amusement park has a Ferris wheel in addition to the one listed below.
This is the main attraction right next to the amusement park. Every evening (usually starting at 9:00 PM) there is a spectacular fountain show here that combines music, colored lighting and laser projections on the water. It is a great place to end your entertainment after the rides.
The lake itself offers a more relaxed atmosphere. You can walk around it on the small bridges, watch the ducks or simply sit in one of the restaurants and cafes scattered around it (it has some of the best fish and Georgian food restaurants in the city).
An iconic building that is considered a tourist attraction. Inside, it is a luxurious restaurant, "The Senate," with several intimate seating areas, VIP rooms, and of course a balcony with a sea view.
Batumi Dolphinarium is one of the most popular and beloved tourist attractions in Georgia. Located within the 6th of May Park, right next to the beach, it offers a fun experience for the whole family .

The Batumi Aquarium is a great complementary stop to a visit to the Dolphinarium, as it is located right next to it (within the 6th of May Park complex). Although it is smaller and more intimate than the world's giant aquariums, it has its own charm and provides an interesting glimpse into the underwater world of the region.

May 6th Park includes Lake Norigali, one of the oldest and most beautiful in Batumi. You can rent boats on the lake, visit the animal corner, and there are playgrounds for children in the area.
The animal corner at Babpark on the 6th of May is another spot worth going to with the kids, next to it is Mini Luna Park, which includes attractions for children, food stalls, and boating opportunities on the lake.
The famous Panoramic Wheel: Located at the northern end of the promenade, within the Miracle Park complex, right next to the Ali and Nino statue and the Alphabet Tower. This wheel is the icon of the city, rising 55 meters high and offering a spectacular panoramic view of the sea and the city. This complex does not have a complete amusement park with roller coasters, but mainly observation points and individual attractions.
The Ali and Nino statue is undoubtedly the most famous and moving symbol of Batumi. In addition to being a work of art, it has become a tourist and photographer's attraction, and is a must-see for anyone visiting the city.
The statue is based on a famous 1937 novel (written by a writer under the pen name "Kurban Said"). The plot tells the story of Ali , a young Muslim from Azerbaijan, and Nino , a Christian Georgian princess. The tragedy: their love was cut short by wars and religious and cultural differences, and they were forced to separate. The statue illustrates their brief encounter and inevitable separation.
The Alphabet Tower is one of the most prominent and symbolic buildings on the Batumi skyline. It is considered an architectural gem that combines national history with futuristic design.
The tower, which is 130 meters high , was built as a tribute to the unique Georgian script – one of the 14 ancient scripts. The 33 letters of the Georgian alphabet are mounted on the coil , made of aluminum and illuminated .
Revolving restaurant: A luxury restaurant that completes a full rotation every hour, so you can eat and see the entire city without getting up from your chair.

Chacha Tower is an elaborate Ottoman-style clock. It was designed by French architect Raymond Charles Parr. Every evening, at 7:00 PM and for only 10 minutes, this clock tower dispenses, free of charge, from its four taps, the local alcoholic drink reminiscent of vodka called Chacha.
