Batumi Botanical Garden
One of the largest and richest botanical gardens in the world, stretching across green hills bordering the Black Sea ("The Green Edge"). It has walking trails between nine phytogeographical regions (from Himalayan plants to North American) and stunning panoramic views of the coastline.
Mtirala National Park
Mtirala National Park is a spectacular natural gem, about 25-30 km from the city of Batumi. The park is known as one of the rainiest and most humid areas in Georgia (its name is derived from the Georgian word "to cry", due to the abundant rainfall), which creates a green, dense subtropical rainforest reminiscent of a jungle.
The park has several trails, a ropes course, Omega, horseback riding, waterfalls, and more.
Chinchilla Park - Tsitsinatela park
It is an amusement park ( Tsitsinatela) located in Georgia, between Batumi and Kobuleti, and is active from mid-spring to early autumn . The park is suitable for summer holidays, admission is free, and tickets can be purchased for individual attractions, while offering parking, restaurants and facilities for the whole family.
Location: North of Batumi, near the city of Karbolati.
Arrival time: About 45 minutes by car from the center of Batumi.
Gonio Fortress, also known as Gonio-Apsaros, is an impressive historical and archaeological site located about 12-15 km south of the city of Batumi, near the border with Turkey. It is one of the oldest and most important Roman fortresses on the eastern coast of the Black Sea.
Arrival time: Car ride from Batumi center: 30 minutes
A breathtaking canyon in the Samegrelo region, known for its clear turquoise waters and lush greenery. Visitors enjoy a pastoral boat ride between high rock walls and a well-maintained walking trail on wooden bridges in front of spectacular waterfalls. It is one of the most photogenic natural sites in Georgia, combining wild beauty with easy accessibility.

A hidden gem, quieter than the outside world. The road to the waterfall passes through a picturesque village and a forest of ancient boxwood trees covered in moss, giving the place the appearance of a forest straight out of a fairy tale. Here too, there is an ancient stone bridge and picnic spots on the banks of the Cherokee River.
